RIVIERA DEL SOL

The outstanding neighborhood of Riviera del Sol lies in the Mijas Costa region, just between the urbanizations of Calahonda and La Cala de Mijas. Riviera del Sol is home to countless property owners of different nationalities, whose homes include both the searched for after beachfront zone and further up the slant towards Miraflores Golf and the extra-fast toll interstate, which gives you lively access to the air terminal and wherever else on the Coast.

It stands out for its essentially Mediterranean architecture. Also, the traffic connections could not be better. It takes only 10 minutes to get to Marbella, 10 minutes to Fuengirola and 35 minutes to Malaga International Airport.

For racket sports enthusiasts, there are two tennis clubs: the Miraflores Tennis Club, with six clay courts and two paddle courts, restaurant and bar. The second is in a Sports Center that, in addition to a gym, has the Tennis Group Academy, which offers a wide variety of programs for all levels and ages.

Another of the main features of the Costa del Sol is its wide range of golf courses. In the Riviera del Sol there is the well-known Miraflores Golf Club, built in 1991, well known by national and international golfers, with a high index of Scandinavian and United Kingdom members. It is a very extensive golf course, with 18 holes, and very well maintained.

For a leisure closer to the sea, highlights the Max Beach, known beach club famous for its international food and its nights enlivened with music. And those who want something more exclusive, the area has The Ocean Hotel, a boutique hotel located on the beachfront.

And for those who want to enjoy the beach without further additives, you can go along the Coastal Path, a first line walk that extends from La Cala de Mijas to Calahonda. And of course, you cannot miss the typical beach bars that offer to enjoy the local cuisine, with rich varieties of fish of the day cooked in the traditional way "to the spit".
